CALL TO ACTION
HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY
We open this 2021 with a new initiative dedicated to one of the darkest pages in Western history: Holocaust Memorial Day, an international celebration that takes place every year on January 27, established to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.
Why January 27th? Because in 1945, on the same day, the troops of the Red Army, engaged in the Vistula-Oder offensive in the direction of Germany, liberated the concentration camp of Auschwitz.
Our invitation is addressed to all those who want to give voice to a theme, still sadly current, of anti-Semitism, human oppression and discrimination, in order to continuously form and strengthen consciences on the fundamental principles of the equality of human beings, of the rights and dignity of each individual.
To participate, all you have to do is make a one-minute video, with a horizontal cut, while reading the passage of a book of your choice linked to the theme of the Shoah, specifying, at the end of reading or on the text of the email, title and author.
Send the file via Wetransfer, no later than January 19th, to with your name and city of origin. We will post the videos on our official Facebook and Instagram pages!
Join the initiative too, your support and your sharing is important! Thank you.
